Reflect

Mary's song turns to what God does in the world: He shows strength with His arm, puts down the mighty, exalts 'them of low degree,' and fills the hungry. She sees it as mercy remembered, as He promised Abraham.

Mighty God, lift up the lowly and feed the hungry. Show me where I can share in your mercy this week. Amen.
