Browsing and searches

Your browser sends information needed to request a page, including your IP address, the requested address, and browser details. Hosting and security services may record this information, request times, and errors to deliver the website, diagnose problems, and prevent abuse.

Search terms are sent to the site to retrieve results. They can appear in page addresses, browser history, and server logs. Please avoid entering private personal information in search boxes. The current site does not create a visitor profile or use advertising or audience-analytics trackers.

Progress saved on your device

Course start and completion markers, and daily-practice completion choices, are saved in your browser using local storage. These markers are not sent to our database or synchronized between devices. They remain until you change them or clear this website’s stored data in your browser.

Anyone using the same browser profile may see that progress. You can read without marking activities complete; blocking local storage may prevent progress from being remembered.

Editor sign-in and cookies

Sign-in is for authorized editors, not a requirement for reading. When editorial services are enabled, Supabase handles editor authentication and the database. This can involve an editor’s email, account identifier, session cookies, and authentication logs. Session cookies support sign-in and access controls. The public reading pages do not currently use advertising or analytics cookies.

Messages you choose to send

When a project email address is available, sending a message shares your email address, message, and any attachments with the project maintainer and email provider. We use these to handle your question, investigate a correction, or respond to a privacy or rights concern. An email link opens your email application; it does not submit a message on this website.

Please send only the details needed to explain the issue. Do not include passwords, private prayer intentions, or confidential information about yourself or someone else. Sending feedback does not subscribe you to marketing.

Service providers and external websites

Information needed to operate the site may be handled by its hosting and security providers, Supabase for enabled editorial services, and the email provider used for correspondence. We do not sell personal information or share it for targeted advertising. Information may also be disclosed where required by law or necessary to investigate abuse and protect the service.

Links to Bible editions, reference works, and other organizations take you to separate websites with their own privacy practices. Depending on the services and hosting regions used, information may be processed outside your country.

Keeping and managing information

Browser-local progress stays under your control. Retention of technical logs depends on the hosting and security service settings; no fixed log-retention period is specified for this preview. Correspondence is kept for handling the request and related correction, security, or legal needs. We do not promise immediate deletion from provider logs or backups.

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict use of personal information, or to raise a concern with a privacy regulator. Send requests to matt.bibledaybook@gmail.com; we may need information to locate the record and verify the request. Clearing browser site data removes locally stored progress without contacting us.

Updates to this notice

We will update this page when the site’s services or handling of information changes, and show the revision date above. Any new data-collecting feature will need its own accurate explanation and any required privacy choices before it is enabled.
