There they found rich, good pasture, and the land was spacious, peaceful, and quiet; for some Hamites had lived there formerly.

When David had finished sacrificing the burnt offerings and peace offerings, he blessed the people in the name of the LORD.

When Hadadezer’s subjects saw that they had been defeated by Israel, they made peace with David and became subject to him. So the Arameans were unwilling to help the Ammonites anymore.

But if the unbeliever leaves, let him go. The believing brother or sister is not bound in such cases. God has called you to live in peace.

For God is not a God of disorder, but of peace— as in all the churches of the saints.

For Solomon had dominion over everything west of the Euphrates — over all the kingdoms from Tiphsah to Gaza — and he had peace on all sides.

And Solomon offered as peace offerings to the LORD 22,000 oxen and 120,000 sheep. So the king and all the Israelites dedicated the house of the LORD.
