Psalms 81

¹A Psalm to Asaph. God stood in the assembly of gods, and in the midst he judgeth gods.

²How long judge ye iniquity: and accept ye the persons of sinners.

³Judge ye for the needy and the pupil: justify ye the humble, and the poor.

⁴Take away the poor: and deliver the needy from the hand of the sinner.

⁵They knew not, neither did they understand, they walk in darkness: all the foundations of the earth shall be moved.

⁶I said: You are gods, and the sons of the highest all.

⁷But you shall die as men: and fall as one of the Princes.

⁸Arise, o God, judge the earth: because thou shalt inherit in all the Gentiles.
